This telescope features a large 102mm aperture, providing excellent light-gathering capabilities for a refractor in its class. With a 900mm focal length, it offers a versatile range of magnification options for observing both the moon and deeper space objects. The larger lens size allows for brighter images and better resolution of fine details during night sky sessions.
The mount is equipped with dual slow-motion rods, which are critical for the ultra-smooth tracking required at higher magnifications. These controls allow the user to make micro-adjustments to the telescope's position, ensuring that planets and stars remain perfectly framed. This level of control is particularly beneficial for those who spend long periods studying specific celestial features.
Built for adults and serious hobbyists, the telescope comes with a robust tripod designed to handle the weight of the 102mm optical tube. The combination of a large aperture and precise manual tracking makes this a capable instrument for anyone looking to advance their astronomical skills. It provides a high-quality viewing experience with a focus on stability and ease of movement.
